Home Support Service, ‘Good to be Home’

Our Home Support Service supports people who find it difficult to leave the house due to mental ill health such as anxiety or depression. Volunteers work with clients to achieve mutual agreed goals to help them to move forwards.

We also offer a “Good to Be Home” scheme to support patients who have recently been discharged from hospital and need some support to regain their independence. Our volunteers help clients connect with support, services and activities on offer in the community, as well as provide help with simple tasks such as shopping whilst they are finding things difficult. The scheme is designed to prevent mental ill health, as well as support those who are suffering from mental health problems.
