It’s Good To Talk provides friendly conversation and support either 1:1 here at Newark Mind, over the phone or by email to those struggling with or recovering from mental ill-health, and also their partners, friends and family members.
Contact can be weekly, monthly or a one-off call. Maybe you just need to know someone is ‘there’, or perhaps you need a confidential ear to get you through a difficult time. We’re here for you.
It’s Good To Talk is a chance to talk with no strings attached. You can talk to us about any personal concerns, worries or problems. It’s a way of helping you feel heard, order your thoughts, air your problems and talk freely and confidentially, without judgement.
We can also put you in touch with other groups and organisations that can help you. Counselling is not part of this service, but can be arranged if it would be helpful.
